The graphic design trends of the 1970s and 1980s served as inspiration for this collection. I looked at the font, color schemes, and layouts of various media, such as magazine covers, band posters, labels, and signage frequently encountered in the day-to-day existence of a West Coast resident raised in the vintage pop culture era. The cool prints and patterns used in this collection are applied to modern silhouettes of young ladies. Airy materials from the collection include linen, cotton jersey knits, and thin denim.
