Kill Bill Collection
The beautiful Japanese culture is shown in this collection through art, architecture, kanji symbols, and ink drawings. It is inspired by the competitive women's athleisure industry.
The collection's direction is shown on the concept board. I portray the character's two sides in homage to Uma Thurman's portrayal of the character in the "Kill Bill" films. One is as ferocious and brutal, while the other is lovely and delicate. This analogy refers to Japanese cultural art.

The fabric and trim board showcases the textiles, surface patterns, and materials employed throughout the collection. These knit fabrics and wovens with 4-way stretch contain materials including lycra, spandex, cotton, rayon, and polyester. Surface ornamentation like embroidery and prints helps artists convey Japanese culture.

Women on the go can wear the outfits I created for this collection. A unified collection is created by the sporty, relaxed silhouettes and the austere Japanese artwork. The vibrant yet understated color schemes pay homage to the traditional kimono hues while still displaying pops of color. The variety of athleisure clothing, from giant pullovers to fitted sets, is demonstrated by the loose to fitted silhouettes.
